Here you can find examples of the various image enhancements that can be done in addition to cropping, resizing, and blemish removal:
#1 - Original Photo
This is the unedited version of the image that will be used in the examples below.
#2 - Dark Vignette
A dark ring can be added to the outside edges of the photo to draw attention to the subject of the picture.
#3 - Light Vignette
A light ring added to the outside edges of the picture can give the image a lighter feel.
#4 - Black and White
Any image can easily be converted to a straight Black and White image. Additional enhancements can then be done to impact the contrasts and tones of the image.
#5 - Sepia
In addition to Black and White conversions, a conversion to a Sepia toned image can be done. Sepia toning is an effect most commonly associated with historic photos and dates back over 100 years.
#6 - Soft and Warm
This change alters skin to make it look much softer and smooth. A warming tone is also added to enhance the skin tones of the subjects.
#7 - Dodge and Burn
This type of photo enhancement can take many different forms. The subject is rendered in a "high key" image where a "white washed" or "brightening" effect is done on the image.
#8 - Strong Dodge and Burn
This is a more severe version of image enhancement that creats a much stronger contrast on the subject.
#9 - Eye Edit
This is an example of a blue eye edit. This brings out a much stronger feel of the subjects eye color and better reflects our mental impression of eye color that is missed in basic image capture.
#10 - Eye Edit Dodge and Burn
An eye edit added to a Dodge and Burn enhanced image.
